Journey to a Dream is an abstract theatre work with different episodes of dream-related stories. The performance is filled with the luster of movement, live vocal, recorded sound and video visuals; it is a collaboration among artists from different artistic practices, from different cities (Yogyakarta, Tokyo, Shanghai, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong). It is a cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary new work of the traditional and the contemporary.

This production was also performed under the ‘One Belt One Road Cross Cultural Exchange Research and Experimental Theatre Touring Program 2019’ in Hong Kong and ‘International Collaboration 2019’ in three Indonesian cities- Bali, Jakarta and Yogyakarta.

Co-Directors: Danny Yung (Hong Kong) and Liu Xiaoyi (Singapore)

Date: 8-10 Nov, 2019
